Weekly Prayer: “The Season of Advent: Peace”

From our December 1st Prayer Session

Loving God,

This Advent season and time of waiting remind us to stop and seek peace in a world that some days feels anything but peaceful.  Our expectant hearts are looking toward the birth of Your Son, Jesus. He is perfect peace in human form. He is the light of the world, and as we behold this gift, we realize just how much You love us. 

 Thank you, Lord, for Jesus, our Prince of Peace. He calms our storms, He opens His arms, He lets us rest, He is our refuge. Father, remind us to just be still and seek the peaceful presence of our Savior.  All praise, worship, and thanksgiving to You, our Heavenly Father, who brings us peace.
